We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Controls Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems and strategies to improve production processes. This role requires a solid understanding of Autocad, Design, PLC, Allen Bradley, Siemens, New Product Design, and Machine Design. If you have a knack for problem-solving and a passion for technology, this might be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and implement control systems to improve manufacturing processes and reduce costs.
2. Work closely with the production team to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.
3. Use Autocad and other design tools to create detailed designs and specifications for control systems.
4. Develop and implement PLC programs using Allen Bradley and Siemens systems.
5. Collaborate with the new product design team to ensure that control systems are integrated into new products from the initial design stages.
6. Work with machine design to develop and implement control systems for new machines and equipment.
7. Oversee the installation, calibration, and testing of control systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with control systems and equipment.
9. Provide training and support to production staff on the use of control systems.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in control systems and incorporate them into our processes.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Controls Engineer in the manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in Autocad, Design, PLC, Allen Bradley, Siemens, New Product Design, and Machine Design.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
8. A team player, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from different departments.
9. Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in control systems and incorporate them into our processes.
10. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
