Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Regulatory Engineers are core to KLA's technology. While we do not currently have an opening, we are always building our Regulatory Engineering talent community and are interested in learning about your background.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement SEMI S2/S8/S14 evaluations to meet division and company needs
- Conduct Safety Assessments and Leading 3rd Party evaluations
- Coordinating personnel & tool time for evaluation & testing
- Driving closure of open issues with 3rd party and Engineering
- Active participant in Product Life Cycle and design review process
- Coordinate and drive CE & Other country specific marking evaluations
- Coordinating tool time, personnel, test equipment
- Drive EMC testing to ensure product market accessibility, i.e. EU and Korea
- Perform Electrical & Safety Testing per SEMI and other regulatory evaluations, i.e EMC and Machinery Directive
- Support divisional review of customer purchase documents and ensure responses are in alignment with division and Corporate Compliance requirements
- Ensure that KLA products are in compliance with Reach / RoHS and other environmental material requirements as applicable
- Participate in and assist regulatory teams addressing safety and environmental regulations.
- Track safety reports (UL, TUV, CE) to address customer requests.
- Communicate product compliance updates with the appropriate KLA personnel.
- Collaborate with personnel at KLA domestic and international offices.
- Lead product compliance regulations and identify practical approaches towards compliance.
- Support the implementation of various product compliance programs to align with customer requirements and governmental regulations.
Required Skills:
- Preferred degree programs: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer proficiency with MS Office and related software programs.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to work in multi-functional and dynamic environment
- Experience working in a compliance role in a Semiconductor Capital Equipment environment
- Proven understanding of CE, KRWA, SEMI requirements
Qualifications:
Master's degree and 3+ years of experience, or Bachelor's and 7+ years of experience. B.S. or M.S. in an engineering or technical field. MS office proficiency. Familiarity with SEMI standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 6 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 8 years.
