A Day in the Life
At Medtronic Diabetes, we are looking for a passionate, high-energy, strategic-minded digital product management individual who will accelerate the digital product and capabilities roadmap in support of the Global Diabetes operating unit strategy. In this role you will collaborate with Regional, Commercial, Customer Experience and Support, Downstream, R&D, Regulatory, Clinical, and other functional areas, to understand and define customer VOC, product and/or capability requirements, product specifications, and planning and program managing the product development.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for evaluating and designing, developing or modifying programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing.
- Analyze existing programs and/or formulate logic for new systems.
- Develop system design documentation (including GUI design, if required), perform coding, and test/debug programs.
- Create ad hoc or bolt-on programs for integrations or functional business teams as needed.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
- Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation.
- Recommend and perform changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Provide technical support, guidance and mentoring to the team members on Project Delivery, Quality, Risk mitigation and handling escalations. Doing peer review of the code developed by other team members and to ensure that the quality code is checked-in.
- Coordinate with other team members from different time zones to create, modify, test, deploy and execute code, form and script needed to run the developed middleware solutions.
- Part of SDLC process for the Development component for the integration tools.
- Provide patch and software upgrades to existing systems as required.
- Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation for program support.
- Analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
- Analyze the user needs and requirements, and outline the software specifications to be developed. Identify the feasibility of the design within budgeted cost and time and inform the management. Measure and modify the outcome and consequences of design using scientific analysis and mathematical models.
- Works closely with functional users to enhance and maintain programs.
- Other tasks may be assigned.
MUST HAVE (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelors degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
NICE TO HAVE
- Must have hands on experience on Web Methods and Web Methods IO middleware tool.
- Deep understanding of the Systems integration principles and other technologies.
- Experience connecting to Sales Force, SAP, Informatica MDM or other SaaS solutions.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and technology skills.
- Exposure and hands on experience using CI-CD tools like GitLabs, Jenkins.
- Certification in Web Methods technology.
- Exposure to Real time and Batch integrations, having knowledge about EDI tools.
- Knowledge and Experience in different messaging product.
- Experience on pub/sub implementation.
- Knowledge and Experience in any API Gateway and API security.
- Knowledge on SOAP and REST APIs.
- Knowledge on AWS cloud VPC and networking.
- Hands on experience in cloud application monitoring.
- Hands on experience in cloud security implementation and IAM.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD): $117,600.00 - $176,400.00. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
