Trane Technologies is currently seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer who leads development, enhancement, and optimization of the front-end and back-end solution for our generative AI web-based application. This individual will be the leader responsible for application development and will serve as the main communicator to the AI Foundry and other leaders around what is and is not possible to configure within our AI web-based application (EVA) and other internal and external applications. This individual will also serve as a champion for innovation and will be asked to bring cutting edge advancements and technology to the group for Trane technologies to implement.

Where is the work:
This is a Remote position.
What you will do:
- Leads the development, enhancement, and optimization of the entire application stack, including user interface development, server-side logic, and API integration.
- Responsible for server-side logic, API integration, database interactions, and frontend development.
- Responsible for delivery of all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Provides technical leadership and collaborates with a cross-functional team to deliver a high-quality software solution and serves as a SME for development activities within the AI Foundry.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies and implements system enhancements.
- Serve as an advocate within Trane Technologies for using AI to help automate business processes and help facilitate teams to meet their business growth objectives.
What you will bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 7+ years working as a Full Stack Developer on a collaborative team.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, Python.
- Proficiency in Next.js and React Framework.
- Expertise building and integrating APIs.
- Experience with DevOps and GitHub Actions, Azure cloud services and GCP, Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
- Extensive experience with all phases of the system development lifecycle process.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $120,000 - $159,000
Additional Compensation: Total compensation for this role also will include an incentive plan.
