The Opportunity
Global ecommerce sales will surpass $3T this year as digital shopping transforms the way customers buy, and businesses operate. Adobe Commerce is at the forefront of this exciting market space, enabling companies to make every moment personal and every experience shoppable.
We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join us. Closely partner with fellow team members across Adobe Commerce to drive the strategic direction and strategy for Adobe Commerce Foundation. You will work on defining product features, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring that engineering has the resources needed to deliver a commerce platform foundation and ensure that the projects accomplish their business goals.
What You’ll Do
- Define and communicate the commerce foundation product vision and strategy to leadership and extended teams, ensuring alignment with the business goals.
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements, defining the product feature set and roadmap to meet those needs within the constraints of the business.
- Conduct and analyze market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape to drive product strategy.
- Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and other teams to ensure successful product launches and iterations.
- Responsible for the product development lifecycle from conception through launch, handling timelines and resources.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to the development team, helping to resolve technical issues and make decisions that align with the product vision.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure the product provides a superior user experience and meets customer needs.
- Leverage data to monitor product performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions.
- Engage with customers through various channels to capture feedback, identify product issues, and advise product development.
Who you are
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Consistent record in product management, ideally within a technology-focused company. Experience in software development or engineering preferred.
- Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies. Familiarity with programming languages, GraphQL, database management, and cloud technologies is desirable.
- Ability to analyze sophisticated data sets to advise product decisions.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive multiple projects simultaneously.
- A strong customer-centric approach, with experience in leading technical discussions with the customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to adapt product strategy based on new information or market shifts.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $121,800 -- $228,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
