As Data Scientist/Data Engineer, we offer you the role to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges across a range of business domains using machine learning techniques and understanding how to convert theory and models into company operations. You work closely with business stakeholders, the BI & Analytics Team, and data analysts in gathering requirements, using different kinds of technology to enable data preparation, data mining, and data visualization. We work globally and across all functional areas.
You will also work with data modeling, ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes, data engineering, data warehousing, and data analytics.
The position is a permanent employment with placement at our head office in Mölndal. Kappahl wants to be a place to belong; therefore, we work with a hybrid working environment. This means you can work remotely when it is more suitable for your work schedule.
Your profile
We are looking for you, who embody our values, are self-motivated, aren´t afraid to challenge, innovate, experiment, and move at a fast pace.
You have a higher education in a relevant field and a background in data and analytics, experience in working with programming/querying languages such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience in working with AI models and data visualization tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Qlik. You have previous experience in Microsoft Azure Analytics functions and in building ETL/ELT processes, together with scaling and optimization of cloud-based data processing based on data lake and/or data warehouse.
As a person, you are structured and solution-oriented. You like to be creative and find new ways as a proactive problem solver, but also to get immersed in a challenging problem. You are expected to work independently in a team-based organization, you are communicative and service-minded. You are a structured team player and can communicate freely in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
