SUMMARY:
Assists in the process of translating user requirements and systems objectives into a logical, efficient, and optimal systems design. Develops and maintains new and existing applications by writing code based on the forementioned design to ensure that business rules and security standards are met. Coordinates operations events and schedules.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and maintains new and existing applications by analyzing, designing and writing code that satisfies a logical, efficient and optimal systems design.
  • Leads program-level and system-level testing, implementation, and break-fix tasks associated with Customer Support System or Customer Support System interfaced programs.
  • Develops documentation of technical workflows and systems designs and verifies against user requirements.
  • Supports Customer Support System and Customer Support System user base with 7 by 24-hour support.
  • Coordinates daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly operations.
  • Coordinates Operators schedule. Ensures all operations events are completed.
  • Trains new operators.
  • Manages interfaces into and out of the Customer Support System environment.
  • Coordinates exchanges/repairs for inventory and route handheld devices.
  • Other duties as required.
EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum 2 years’ information systems experience.
  • Experience programming in the following technologies (RM/COBOL, UNIX, ISAM).
  • Will be required to work outside normal business hours on an as needed basis.
SKILLS and ABILITIES:
  • Knowledge of system development methodologies in the area of requirements gathering.
  • Ability to organize, analyze, interpret and evaluate problems and provide solutions with the right sense of urgency.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to focus on overall business success and find opportunities within IT and the business to improve business performance.

PAY:
$65,000-$80,000 a year*
*The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package.
