Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Integration Developer to join our team. This is a developer-centric role focusing on building and supporting integrations between Workday and other enterprise applications. You will be responsible for supporting the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) business area as the organization transitions from PeopleSoft to Workday. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in developing connectors and integrations using Workday tools and will be ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Support Integrations: Design, develop, and support integrations between Workday and other systems using tools such as Workday Studio, Workday Connectors, and Reports-as-a-Service.
- Procure-to-Pay Integration: Focus on Workday integrations specific to the finance domain, such as Accounts Payable, Strategic Sourcing, and other related processes.
- Migration Support: Assist in migrating functionalities from PeopleSoft to Workday, ensuring smooth integration during the transition phase.
- Unit Testing and UAT: Perform unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by addressing any identified issues or gaps.
- Documentation and Maintenance: Create detailed technical documentation and provide post-deployment support to maintain system stability and performance.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of demonstrated Workday integration development experience.
- Expertise in Workday Integration Tools such as Workday Studio, Workday Connectors, Reports-as-a-Service, and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
- Proficiency in API Development and understanding of API integration best practices.
- Strong understanding of the Procure-to-Pay business area.
- Experience in Unit Testing and debugging integration issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Workday’s finance sector (e.g., Accounts Payable, Strategic Sourcing).
- Knowledge of best practices in Workday integration development.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
