Role

As a CNC Machinist (also known as CNC Operator, CNC Technician), you'll operate both manual and CNC machines, including lathes, multi-axis CNC HBMs, Vertical Machining Centers, and VTLs. You'll be responsible for recognizing problems as programs run, maintaining detailed records, and completing process documentation. You'll also work closely with tooling engineers to devise optimum tooling design and practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant machining experience.
  • Ability to write/edit programs using both G and M coded controls (experience with Siemens and Fanuc controls preferred).
  • Experience with grinders, tool setters, jacks, clamps, bolts, shims, jigs, fixtures, angle plates, rules, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gages, levels, protractors, verniers, and light hand tools.
