As an experienced software engineer you will be responsible for design, coding, implementation, quality control and the overall software development process across a variety of Sales, Marketing, Client Service, and Corporate applications. You will be expected to contribute to the application portfolio that supports our Client Service, Sales, Marketing, Client Reporting as well as our Corporate functions in Human Resources and Finance. You will help the team accelerate delivery of critical features and functionality, while also making material contributions to technical modernization initiatives.

What You Will Do

  1. Drive full stack software development efforts aimed at providing our Client Service, Sales, Marketing and Corporate teams with robust analysis, reporting, sales tools and workflow efficiency.
  2. Advance and develop proprietary and vendor applications that support CRM, website, and marketing analytics.
  3. Play a key role in architecting future sales and marketing applications.
  4. Engineer applications based on cloud native principles.
  5. Work effectively with our infrastructure engineering teams to implement software solutions with high degrees of scalability and resiliency.
  6. Execute and migrate existing workloads to cloud.
  7. Collaborate with relationship managers, marketing managers, and senior management to align program focus and prioritization.

What You Will Bring

  1. 7+ years of demonstrated experience in software development with leadership responsibilities.
  2. Deep understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices.
  3. Demonstrated experience working with Python and C#.
  4. Full stack capabilities: Angular front end preferred, APIs, and databases.
  5. Experience with JavaScript and Typescript is a plus.
  6. Knowledge with Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub and CICD tools is a plus.
  7. Understanding of any of the following: Oracle DB, MS SQL, Snowflake, SingleStore, or Denodo.
  8. Experience with public cloud implementation and services.
  9. Hands on background in all aspects of application development lifecycle.
  10. Eagerness to learn about and work on any application in the team’s portfolio.
  11. Preferred domain knowledge within financial services.
  12. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  13. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or other related discipline.
  14. Energy, enthusiasm, motivation, and a results-oriented attitude.

Expected base salary for the role will generally be between $150,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include other forms of compensation such as, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
