Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking to hire a DevOps Engineer in Denver, Colorado (CO). Our client takes pride in building a team of game changers, innovators, and thinkers who are driven to help create a platform that allows our customers to save money, time, and even lives. They are looking for a DevOps Engineer to collaborate on a critical part of their platform. You will be responsible for the design and support of the product platform, focusing on AWS and Azure hosted product to enable the success of our engineering and customer success teams. You will also share IT duties with the rest of your team, involving technologies such as virtualization, networking, security, and authentication. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes architecture, infrastructure, and administration
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes monitoring and analysis tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Fluentd, Istio, etc.
- 2+ years of experience with Linux system administration skills
- 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools, such as Ansible, Argo Workflows, Argo CD, etc.
- 2+ years of experience with scripting and/or programming languages, specifically Bash, Python
- Experience with Networking concepts and diagnostics/troubleshooting
- Experience managing and automating deployments for complex applications deployed to various environments, including cloud and on-premises
- Experience monitoring complex cloud-based applications for errors and performance
- DevOps experience in a complex development environment, CI/CD concepts
- In-depth understanding of software development processes and workflows
- Container technologies and concepts, specifically Docker and Kubernetes
- Networking concepts and technologies
- Proficient with Linux and terminal/shell
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload based on team objectives
- Ability to work in a team environment and have strong coordination, organization, and communication skills
Salary: $140,000 - $185,000 per year
