• Responsible for requirement analysis and feasibility study including system-level work estimation while considering risk identification and mitigation.
• Responsible for design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation, and technical support in the assigned area, ensuring on-time delivery while adhering to quality and productivity goals.
• Responsible for traceability of the requirements from design to delivery, code optimization, and coverage.
• Conducts reviews, identifies risks, and owns the quality of deliverables.
• Identifies training needs of the team.
• Expected to enhance technical capabilities by attending training, self-study, and periodic technical assessments.
• Expected to participate in technical initiatives related to projects and organizations and deliver training as per plan and quality.
• Expected to be a technical mentor for junior members.
• May be given additional responsibility of managing people based on the discretion of the Project Manager.
Education and Experience Required
Engineering graduate, MCA, etc. Experience: 5-8 years.
Protocol Stack - Modem engineer is one who designs, develops, and maintains different protocol layers (Layer 2 and above) in the 2G, 3G, TDS, LTE technologies. Typically, the work is done on ARM-based Linux or RTOS platforms using C/C++ language.
Platforms: Linux host, customer or proprietary boards and form factors.
Technology Standards: 3GPP specifications.
