The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated electrical engineer to join our R&D design team.

Bring your creativity to help design new products, utilize your expertise in design concept generation, participate in design reviews, develop and test to assess performance against design specification; reliability testing, and assessment of system interactions.

  • Leads in efforts to define and design new products, and components.

  • Takes ownership of engineering problems and solves technical challenges.

  • Works closely with other development teams to provide best in class solutions to technical problems.

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years end-to-end development of PCB design. Experience with component selection, circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout with tools such as Altium

  • 3+ years development of firmware for embedded hardware systems, using C and VHDL.

  • Proven experience designing shipped reliable products with microcontrollers or FGPAs.

  • Cable harness design

  • You hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a directly related fieldand 8 years of related experience OR a MS degree in a directly related field plus 4 years related experience required OR a PhD degree in a directly related field and 2 years of related experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Microchip 8 and 32 bit family of parts

  • Programming Languages (C, VHDL, Python)

  • Familiarity with ARM-based processors

  • Previous experience designing for a regulated industry

  • Domain expertise with industrial process sensors, motion control systems, and actuators.

  • Experience in testing for EMC/EMI compliance

  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Arizona is $95,600 - $177,600. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
