Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Description

JLL is looking for a Sr. Full-stack Developer with strong Microsoft .Net, Node.js, ReactJS, and NoSQL skills. In this role, the person will be responsible for application development and support on a day-to-day basis, maintain, monitor application performance, and apply patches to all tiers. Candidates must thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving mission-critical business issues through the use of cutting-edge technology. A bright seasoned individual with a “get it done” mentality. Has a deep understanding and passion for technology and is able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

1. Work with product technical leads to design new products or enhancements.
2. Take part in system development including analysis, coding, and testing.
3. Perform solution design and mentor less experienced analysts on proper standards/techniques to improve their accuracy and efficiency.
4. Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and assist with user acceptance testing.
5. Provide ongoing support to applications used within the organization.

Experience & Education:

1. At least 8 years of IT experience.
2. Reliable, self-motivated, and self-disciplined individual capable of planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously within a fast-paced environment.
3. Exceptional debugging skills and strong experience with performance tuning.
4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
5. Excellent technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
6. Good range of hands-on technical experience.

Technical Skills & Competencies:

Mandatory:

1. Server-side development - ASP.NET Core, Node.js.
2. NoSQL Databases (Azure CosmosDB or MongoDB).
3. Relational Databases (SQL Server).
4. REST API, OData, GraphQL.
5. JavaScript frameworks like ReactJS, Angular.

Preferable:

1. Experience using TypeScript.
2. API Management Platform (Apigee or Azure APIM).
3. Experience working on large datasets.
4. Messaging Systems (RabbitMQ or Kafka).
5. Familiarity with the development of reusable frameworks and libraries to be used by multiple development teams.
6. Familiarity with cloud-native application architecture patterns.
7. Architecting applications in Microsoft Azure.
8. API design concepts and development of RESTful web services.
9. Experience using DevOps tools for CI/CD.
10. Experience with tools and best practices for secure application development.
