YOU
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of industry-leading software applications and services for the building industry.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Design and develop applications and services with a small scrum team that focuses on next generation design and management tools for component manufacturers in the wood structure building ecosystem. You will utilize your cloud development skillset to work on applications hosted in Azure. Development will primarily be in C# and JavaScript for web development utilizing Microsoft web technology methods, Azure, SQL, REST, Web Services, HTML/CSS, and/or ASP .NET or ASP.NET Core. Other technologies used include Jenkins, Powershell and Postman (85%)
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospectives as part of the Agile Scrum software development lifecycle. (15%)
Desired Skills And Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or technology, information systems or software engineering course of study or relevant experience required
- 6+ years relevant software development experience required.
- Ability to design and develop complex client-server software
- Accomplished in developing high quality, clean, testable code
- Ability to diligently attend to details and pursue quality in accomplishing tasks in a timely manner
- Willingness to learn and utilize new technologies
- Communicate well, both verbally and in writing, creating accurate documentation, sharing information and ideas with others
- Ability to build and sustain cooperative working relationships
- Experience with any of the following is a plus:
- C++
- Agile development
- Git source control
- CI/CD Automated test development using Xunit or NUnit
- Building industry experience

WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, exempt position is located in Boulder, Colorado or remote with availability during core hours of 9am to 4pm MT.

PAY
$107,300 - $144,800 / year
