Become a maker of possible with us.Summary:The Manufacturing Engineering Technician works in the Engineering department and performs various duties to support the manufacturing of finished goods and raw materials.Essential / Key Job Responsibilities (including supervisory and/or fiscal):Perform a variety of routine and complex maintenances on facility and manufacturing equipmentEnsure the manufacturing systems are operating within defined parametersBasic mechanical designDatabase maintenanceTechnical, maintenance, and troubleshooting support throughout the facilityIdentification and execution of engineering and continuous improvement projects (cost, throughput, procedures, etc.)Troubleshooting/repairing of facility equipmentFollow established procedures and Quality System RegulationsUnderstand and follow the established corporate safety standard, local facility operating procedures and safety policies.Operate under minimal supervisionPerform other duties as assignedDevelop training programsTrain Manufacturing Technicians on operational maintenanceLead projectsMinimum Requirement:High School Diploma or GED2-year Technical Degree preferredAutoCAD or SolidWorks experience required4 years manufacturing experience preferredFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company’s receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
