Engineering Program Manager

The Engineering Program Manager is supporting JLL’s client, Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) holding responsibility of engineering program support within assigned Area and back-up support for Regional Engineering Manager.

As an Engineering Program Manager at JLL, you will be responsible for managing and performing administrative tasks related to the below:

1. Individual program ownership with excellent communication skills to follow up on processes that are current, reviewed/revised accordingly, updated, and shared, i.e.:
1. Asset Life Cycle & Reliability; CapEx
2. D&C Closeout & Commissioning Asset Gather
3. MEP employee comfort systems.
2. Offer support to the Regional Engineering Manager on existing or escalating MEP troubleshooting and repairs within the area.
3. Partner with the Regional Engineering Manager & Project Managers on new builds and projects ensuring consistency to standards and GREF Programs.
4. Ownership of partnering with area site teams in creation, recommendation, and approval for engineering programs such as:
1. Planned Outages
2. ACDC
3. COE
5. Use data trends to identify potential system problems and proactively work with teams in solutioning/verification, i.e., Hot/Cold Calls & SEV1 (Emergency) & SEV2 (Urgent) Reactive Work Orders.
6. Assist the Regional Engineering Manager with Corrigo MEP Assets & Preventative Maintenance Programs:
1. Assets are current with applicable JACS coding.
2. PM programs meet equipment requirements for life expectancy and longevity.
7. Warranty program – includes ensuring all device warranty dates are recorded.
8. Partner with area SFM’s & FM’s on obtaining site-specific information for Global Engineering, Sustainability etc. requests on low/no cost initiatives to drive and improve customer satisfaction.
9. Verify MEP standards are programmed & met at site locations, identifying potential design impacts.
10. Identify value add opportunities & partner with Regional Engineer Manager in development of narrative.
11. Managing equipment PM schedules.

Requirement:

1. A BS degree in technology, engineering strongly preferred. Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Background a plus.
2. 3-5+ years of program management experience, implementing efficient large-scale platform projects through the full project lifecycle strongly preferred.
3. Provide thought leadership and direction on assigned programs ensuring disciplined execution and continuous improvement of Program and Project Management practices.
4. Excellent leadership skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with a variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.
5. Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, taking higher responsibilities working with cross-functional teams who are working on multiple priorities.
6. Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying/closing gaps in the program development/implementation lifecycle.
7. Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities.
8. Proven experience in process development and project management principles leading to improved outcomes with the ability to prioritize activities and work on multiple activities or priorities at once and stay on track and within budget.
9. Experience communicating effectively with leaders regarding the program scope, schedule, budget, risks, mitigation strategies, status, and expectations.
