Responsibilities- Collaborate with other engineers to develop end-to-end models of complex systems to include architecture and behavior of the system using Systems Modeling Languages (SysML, UAFML).
- Collaborate with other engineers to develop physics-based and mathematics-based models of satellite missions using commercial and custom Simulation tools, scripts, and macros.
- Identify and implement modern digital engineering solutions to traditional engineering processes.
- Support Integrated Product Teams (IPT's) and Engineering working groups that will review and assess the maturity of engineering Artifacts, CONOPs, System Interfaces, and Architecture products.
- Assist with decision support and technical consultation, meeting coordination, and leading the development of initial recommendations for Government decision-makers.
- Required experience: 2-4 years with BS or 0-2 years with MS or 0 years with PhD.
- Must Possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance with Poly.
- Bachelor's degree in systems engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, operations research, engineering management, or related STEM degree program.
- Familiarity with industry space-based remote sensing capabilities.
- Understanding of basic Digital Engineering concepts.
- Professional oral and written communication skills.
- Strong business acumen: ability to relate professionally inside the work environment.
- A passion for learning, helping others, sharing team knowledge, and contributing value to the mission in any way possible.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have (DESIRED):
- Experience with Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis (MS&A) tools such as Systems Tool Kit (STK).
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo and Rhapsody.
- Experience with Object-Oriented Programming languages such as SysML, UAFML, Python, C++, Java.
- Experience with Atlassian productivity tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
- Experience with supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).
