Job Title: Support Engineer III (wire-harnessing technicians)
Job Location: Redmond, WA 98052
Job Duration: 9 to 11 Months (Contract to hire)
Pay Rate: $34/hr to $35/hr
OT expectation: 5 to 10 OT hours/week.
Mission:
- Special harnessing project to meet integration deadlines. Team of lab engineers dedicated to harnessing. This role is to augment them with more manpower. There will be back-and-forth communication with engineers. They are mainly collaborative but need to have some independent thinking once they gather information from engineers.
Day to Day:
- Wire-harnessing/rework.
- Assist in the setup and commissioning of production equipment.
- Assemble tooling and assist with equipment maintenance.
- Aerospace/space harnessing experience. Full builds in a production setting or flight line repair.
- Connectors are aerospace-specific.
- Wire-harnessing building/rework.
- Assembly of wire harness test and flight hardware.
- Experience working with FOD and ESD-sensitive hardware.
- Execute test procedures for component and assembly-level testing.
- Assist in the setup and commissioning of production equipment.
- Assemble tooling and assist with equipment maintenance.
- HS degree required.
- 3-5 years of harnessing experience preferred
- Insist on the highest standards
- Owning their piece of the pie
- The Medical Devices field may work but prefer Aerospace because the connectors are aerospace-specific.
- IPC/WHMA-A-620 Cert would not be required but a huge plus if the worker had this cert but not required.
- Bachelor's or Associate is a plus.
- Military Experience: More production-focused vs hardcore dev side.
- Only automotive harnessing experience, too much training to get them up to speed. Aerospace and Medical devices deal with the sort of precision required at client Aerospace Project.
- Yes (2 weeks at their own expense)
- Staggered, having everyone start ASAP.
