Job Details {#job-details automation="jog-details-title" bind="text: $.t('Opportunity.OpportunityDetail.JobDetails')"}Description {#description automation="descriptions-title" bind="text: $.t('Opportunity.OpportunityDetail.Description')"}Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Program parts and fixtures using Mastercam or AutoCAD.Develop manufacturing process for new and legacy 3-, 4-, and 5-axis parts.Use machine simulation software to ensure collision free code.Converts designs and specifications into computer code.Consults with supervisors, other programmers, and end users to gather information about program intent, functions, features, data requirements, input requirements, output requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operating system environment, interfaces with other systems.S/U and run CNC mills and lathes as needed to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts.Design work holding and fixtures in SolidWorks.Aid in quoting new work, including design for manufacturability feedback to customers.Communicate and resolve issues with peers/manufacturing.Develop and implement continuous improvement ideas on new and legacy parts.Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs.Other duties as assigned.* Minimum Requirements *Have a minimum of 3 year of Mastercam experience --- OR --- 3 years of CNC experience combined with excellent computer skills.Experience with GD&T.Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail-Oriented.Reliable and dependable.Positive internal and customer focused attitude.Must enjoy fast pace and rapidly changing environment.Strong ability to organize, prioritize and communicate.Champion projects to ensure meeting customer delivery.On-the-job Mastercam training/growth will be provided for the motivated applicant.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
