Job Requirements / Description
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS: (Includes but is not limited to the following).
- Inspect Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment for potential problems.
- Maintain and Repair Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on Ride Systems and Auxiliary Equipment.
- Complete work orders.
- Walk daily routes and make necessary repairs.
- Requires being mobile 90% of the shift.
- Other job related duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Understand and comply with all corporate, hotel and departmental rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
- Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff.
- Read, write and communicate verbally in English.
- Ability to perform basic math.
- 3 Years theme park maintenance experience and be proficient at Inspecting, Maintaining, Troubleshooting, Repairing, and Installing Amusement Park rides (in accordance with ASTM and Clark County ATS standards).
- Familiar with facilities fixtures, furnishings, and equipment.
- AIMS level 1 maintenance certification and one or more of the following:
- 6G Welding certification
- Journeyman Millwright card
- A&P license, or Hydraulics & Pneumatics training certificate
- Journeyman Electrical Card
- PLC or DSC training certificate or certification
- VFD, VSD, or Electronics certificate or certification
- Required to climb rides or structures to 100’
