Job Title: Database Administrator
Location: Atlanta, GA(2 Days onsite/3 days remote)
Job Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support for production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor and maintain databases including SAP ASE/Sybase, Redis, Postgres, and MS SQL Server.
• Develop and maintain scripts using Ansible, Python, and Shell to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux-based systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement and support new features and enhancements.
• Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical systems.
• Document processes, procedures, and incident resolutions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in production support or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ASE/Sybase, Redis, Postgres, and MS SQL Server.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, and Shell.
• Extensive experience with Linux operating systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
