QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop and execute product quality strategies for Meta’s family of apps or business products.
- Develop test strategies for business-critical projects to ensure product correctness before launch.
- Manage a team of in-house and offshore testers to conduct black box testing.
- Spearhead initiatives that influence engineering organizations to build a quality-driven culture.
- Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to leverage automation for scalable solutions to prevent regressions and ensure reliability of products.
- Identify gaps and opportunities to improve quality.
- Define and implement QA processes to optimize and scale testing within the product.
- Establish and drive the adoption of quality metrics that help measure test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall quality of product.
- Assess non-functional (e.g. i18n, l10n, a11y) product quality in collaboration with other quality focused teams and provide key insights to product teams.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and two years of work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Requires two years of experience in the following:
- Quality Engineering
- Planning, designing, and executing tests and knowledge of performance and stress testing
- Implementing and maintaining quality test automation for both mobile and web applications
- Managing black box testing with remote testers
- Knowledge of industry standard test automation tools and automation frameworks
- Reporting data and metrics to key stakeholders via technical demonstrations and reports
- Running PoC programs that could potentially help with efficiency and process improvements.
Public Compensation:
$172,480/year to $181,940/year + bonus + equity + benefits
