About the Opportunity:
• Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist
• Pay: $33.28/Hour
• Location: Forest Lake, MN
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Mon-Thurs 3PM-1AM.
Daily functions:

Operate and set up CNC machines to produce precision machines parts.

Interpret technical blueprints and designs to understand the specifications and requirements of a part.

Conducted regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.

Measure and examine completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools like micrometers and gauge pins.

Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, and materials onto machines.

Adjusted machine settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.

Kept a detailed record of processes, tool usage, and production output.

Adhered to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Collaborated with engineers or CNC programmers for custom jobs or to refine manufacturing processes.

Operate all necessary equipment in a safe manner with little or no supervision.

Ability to work well in a team, pay attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Desired qualifications:

2 years mold making experience in a tool shop environment, preferred.

2 years technical or trade school degree with an emphasis on Tool Making/CNC Machine or equivalent experience, preferred.

Continuous professional development to stay updated with new machining technologies and techniques.

Valid identification and the ability to work legally in the United States, required.

Candidates must have CNC Maintenance experience in metal MFG environment.

Physical requirements:

Lifting 40lbs

Standing for long durations of time

Use hands and fingers to operate hand tools.
