Job Description:

THIS IS A SR LEVEL POSITION. CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE 8-10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

1. Winforms
2. Office Automation and VSTO
3. Multi-threading
4. Extensive experience using Microsoft Debugging tools (VS Debugger, WinDbg, CorDbg).
5. Strong experience with object-oriented analysis and design methods, extensive experience in VB.Net and C#.
6. Experience using Testing Tools (NUnit, NAnt).

NICE TO HAVE IN ADDITION TO REQUIRED SKILLS ABOVE:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Computer Science or Related Field with 10 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 5 or more years' experience.
2. Extensive experience in developing applications in a variety of programming languages, operating systems, and computer platforms.
3. Expert knowledge of emerging tools and technologies and should be viewable as an expert in multiple technical fields.
4. Experience with relational database systems (SQL Server preferred).
5. Experience with SQL, database design, T-SQL, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Functions and Query Optimization.
6. Knowledge of and experience with XML Technologies (XML, XSLT, XSD).
7. Experience with Microsoft Software Development Tools (Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Resharper, Postsharp).
8. Knowledge of secure coding practices and test-driven development.
9. Experience with Windows Server 2008 or later.
10. Experience with Windows 7 or later.
11. Must be able to develop and maintain software/systems documentation.
12. Adaptability, Communication, Contributing to team success, Innovation, Analytical Skills, Languages and Databases, Software Domain Knowledge, Host Environment, Software Architecture and Design, Software Development Tools, Test Driven Development, Cloud Computing - Able to effectively communicate with peers and IMF management both verbally and in writing.
13. Ability to work with clients, vendors, and management to obtain outstanding results.
14. Be able to work on complex enterprise-wide problems and develop solutions.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

1. Composite UI Application Block (CAB) (nice to have)
2. Infragistics (nice to have) and ComponentOne (nice to have)
3. Experience with Agile development, preferable SCRUM
4. Knowledgeable about the challenges and opportunities of Azure cloud development environment
5. Knowledgeable with mobile development, included web mobile responsive design
6. PDF Authoring Technologies
7. VB6 & VBA
8. Experience with Fortune 500 companies

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Interacts with customers in defining requirements and strategies and in resolving problems and support issues.
2. Applies advanced technical expertise to define architecture requirements and establishing standards for design and development in order to promote high system performance, maintainability, extensibility, and compatibility with related systems.
3. Provides or contributes to product demonstrations, technology seminars, and review of emerging technologies.
