Civil Structural Engineer

We are working with a $100M business unit of a $1.5B manufacturer in the commercial building product space. They are highly innovative, growing extremely quickly, and looking to add an additional Structural Engineer in Northern Indiana due to additional volume. Relocation is an option!

Responsibilities:

• Design open web steel joists and steel deck.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with our direct and indirect partners.
• Review contract documents such as structural drawings, architectural drawings, and project specifications.
• Provide direction and technical support to detailers, shop orders, and production teammates during project development, design and fabrication.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• FE certification (OR must be obtained within first 12 months)
• Able and willing to travel
