Stress Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing

What you will be doing:

• Perform classical hand calculations of metallic & composite structures
• Create stress substantiation reports and interface load documents for compliance with FAA regulations
• Create certification reports for submittal to FAA DER
• Create test plans and test reports for compliance with FAA regulations
• Perform Finite element analysis using FEMAP/NASTRAN

What you need to qualify:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering
• 5+ years' Stress Engineering experience in the aerospace industry
• Must have experience using different CAD Programs, free-body diagrams, classical stress analysis techniques and finite element analysis using FEMAP
• Customer oriented to interface with customer during development phase of new products.
• Leadership experience, a plus
