Position Overview

The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will focus on activities that support projects in NPI and Operations.

Position Responsibilities/Essential Functions

  • Safety is everyone's responsibility
  • Lead continuous improvement activities – Apply concepts of LEAN, 5S, Process flow, Safety
  • Design, develop, document, and manage manufacturing processes and methods for new and existing manufacturing work cells
  • Design and fabrication of prototype, test, and production equipment
  • Technical support, troubleshoot and repair automation and equipment
  • Participate in the New Product Introduction process (NPI)
  • Support Business Development activities on new project opportunities
  • Support activities that promote attaining company objectives and metrics
  • Mentor personnel on automation and equipment
  • Installation and startup of new equipment
  • Organize training on new equipment
  • Set objectives, deadlines, and prioritize Manufacturing Engineering tasks
  • Drive Continuous Improvement activities through Manufacturing Engineering group
  • Define and execute on department quarterly rocks in alignment with corporate rocks and goals
  • Provide subject matter expertise as Automation primary contact
  • Regular, on-time attendance at work is an essential function of every job at Dymotek

Minimum Qualifications/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or equivalent work experience
  • Proficient use of CAD: 2D & 3D solid modeling
  • Experience with 6 axis and SCARA robots. Programming of PLC and understanding of Ladder logic
  • Experience with vision systems including Keyence and Cognex equipment
  • Capable of managing multiple projects
  • Experience in cost estimating and understanding of project justification analysis
  • Basic working experience with standard machine shop tools (milling machine, lathe, band saw, drill press, table saw, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently
  • Initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work as a team player
  • Proficient use of O365
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
  • Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Highly Desirable

  • ISO 9001/13485 knowledge
  • Working knowledge of IQMS

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
