We are based in New York City, but our projects are nationwide.


About the Role:


We are in search of a skilled Architectural Designer to join our project team on a full-time basis. As an Architectural Designer, you will play a pivotal role in producing design and construction documents across all project phases, including surveying, architectural design, detailing, and assembling construction, filing, and as-built documentation. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful execution of projects.


Key Qualifications:


  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in the production of construction documents, preferably with a focus on restaurant or food service projects.


  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and the preparation of construction documents. 


  • Design Acumen: Strong design background with excellent problem-solving and research skills. 


  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various stakeholders' needs.


  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.


  • Proactive Mindset: Demonstrated ability to take initiative, exhibit resilience, and maintain a solutions-focused attitude in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Produce comprehensive Design and Construction Document Sets based on schematic design plans, 3D models, and design development studies.


  • Review drawings for accuracy and consistency with existing conditions and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) consultants' requirements.


  • Present progress plans, images, and renderings as necessary to designers and clients, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.


Role Details:


This is a full time salaried position requiring 40+ hours per week of work. Our office is located in Manhattan, and travel to project locations may occasionally be required.
