Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Backend Java Developer to fill an open position with one of our banking clients. This is an exciting opportunity to join an Agile squad supporting a major ongoing project focused on integrating the current debit dispute solution into a new FIS solution. In this role you will:

• Support the integration of the current debit dispute solution into the new FIS solution.
• Collaborate with a team, including product owners and agilest, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work on both new and legacy applications, ensuring compliance with internal SLAs and guidelines.
• Lead your work independently while also contributing to team efforts.

The Ideal Candidate

• 4+ years of Java Development experience, with expertise in Java 8 or newer, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Proficiency with IDEs such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, or Visual Studio.
• Experience working on Linux/Unix platforms and using Git or GitHub for version control.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL and relational databases, with the ability to write complex queries.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with APIs, including security models and testing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
