Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Staff Frontend Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and refining user-facing features of our sophisticated platform. Your expertise will ensure that our users experience a highly intuitive, responsive, and performant interface.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Frontend Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable and maintainable frontend solutions using React and TypeScript.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to create high-quality features that align with user needs and business goals.
- Enhance Performance: Optimize frontend performance to ensure a seamless user experience, focusing on fast load times and smooth interactions.
- Code Quality: Uphold high standards of code quality through rigorous testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior frontend developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Innovate: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development and contribute to ongoing platform improvements.
Qualifications
- Experience: 7+ years of frontend development experience with a strong focus on React and TypeScript.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Performance Optimization: Proven experience with frontend performance optimization techniques and tools.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Backend Knowledge: Experience with Node.js and backend development to facilitate better integration with frontend systems.
- Financial Markets: Familiarity with financial markets and trading platforms, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Design Systems: Experience with design systems and component libraries.
