Manager of Engineering

Sign-on Bonus: $3,000

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8AM-5PM

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Skilled in implementing best practices, driving operational excellence, and increasing team productivity functions.
• Directs the development, evaluation, and design of new products and enhancements.
• Leads, manages, and supports the engineering team.
• Determines the need for training and talent development.
• Develops, implements, and refines product development processes.
• Collaborates with various departments and customers to ensure product quality and safety.
• Oversees the creation of design standards, manuals, and work instructions.
• Travels to investigate and resolve technical issues.

Education and/or Experience:

• B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 5+ yrs experience in industrial product design.
• 1-2 years proven work experience as an Engineering Manager.
• 3 years experience in industrial product design with PLC and HMI programming a plus.
• Good understanding of Engineering Change Management within an ERP system.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Design experience in electrical and pneumatic schematics.
• Schematics software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or DraftSight).
• Knowledge of pneumatics and vacuum systems a plus.
• Design experience with industrial equipment and machinery is a plus.
