Power Apps Developer

We are seeking a Power Apps Developer to join our team in a mostly remote environment with some travel required. The selected candidate should be based in either the Richmond, VA or McLean, VA area to allow for local travel. The Power Apps Developer will support our customer in the creation and maintenance of robust, responsive, and scalable applications. This role involves developing Power Platform apps, automating business processes, and building custom dashboards.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years developing robust, responsive, and scalable Power Platform apps (model driven, canvas) leveraging on-premises and other data sources
• Experience with Power Automate (primary focus) or Automation Anywhere. Experience with both is highly desired.
• Developing and updating custom applications and dashboards, automating business processes
• Developing and maintaining a user story backlog, creating custom SharePoint Pages, and extending PowerApps pages functionality with Dataverse integration
• Experience building robust Power Automate flows and Model Driven Business Process Flows (BPFs)
• Develop Power Platform proof of concepts to test use cases and prototype solutions for end-users
• Experience with Data Gateways and connectors and building custom connectors
• Experience working with data sources including Dataverse
• Experience working with SharePoint online document libraries and linkage with apps/Dataverse
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter within a team environment

Desired Certifications:

• Microsoft 365 certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Developer Associate, PL900

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology or similar field in Computer Science
