Description Acara Solutions, one of the country's largest aerospace staffing services firms, is helping our national aerospace manufacturing client find a Sr. Systems Engineer to join their organization as a salaried direct employee. The salary range is $122K - $145K. This is an 100% onsite position in their Bothell, WA plant. The Sr. Systems Engineer independently performs engineering tasks related to researching, designing, and developing Aerospace or Electronics products. Responsibilities include designing new products, modernizing existing ones, and ensuring they meet cost, quality, and customer requirements. Key Duties: Utilize engineering software to solve technical problems and optimize designs. Collaborate with all functional groups to meet performance and cost targets. Integrate quality and manufacturability into designs while adhering to company and regulatory guidelines. Support continuous improvement efforts and personal development. Communicate effectively in written and verbal English for technical reports and presentations. Manage work activities, prioritize tasks, and meet project schedules and budgets. Solve technical challenges using proficient problem-solving processes and documentation. Review and generate product development documentation to meet customer and program requirements. Work effectively within a team, collaborating across engineering, operations, quality, and business disciplines. Lead system development activities and system safety analyses, including reliability predictions and failure modes analysis. Participate in certification compliance for critical aircraft control systems. Experience with industry processes (e.g., ARP4754) and system safety analyses (e.g., ARP4761) Job Requirements Required Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering Minimum 5 years of systems engineering experience, including avionics Additional Skills Desired: Experience with Transformer Rectifier Units, Power Conditioning Units, DC-DC Converters, Magnetics, Battery Chargers, Landing Gear Systems, Door and Slide Control Systems, and Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems Proficiency in systems engineering principles, including requirements interpretation and system design Knowledge of requirements management, validation, and verification Familiarity with multi-physics modeling (e.g., Simulink), circuit analysis, power supply topologies, and software development lifecycles Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
