Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, and solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration and testing built-in from the outset. Job expectations include a strong knowledge of development and testing practices common to the industry and design and architectural patterns.

Position Summary

QA Tools Developer - .Net developer is needed to support the QA Web tools platform which is host to a number of existing and new toolsets being built to be leveraged by internal (DCRS – QA/EL/CM teams/UAT) and external teams as well.

Resource needed to provide adequate coverage to reduce significant risks in application support /availability/ development of tools to to mitigate impact to deliverables across projects, status reporting and MRA audit related functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
  • Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
  • Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
  • Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
  • Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
  • Automates manual release activities
  • Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering ,Computer science ,Information Technology or Job related field required .
  • 12+ years experience in Job related field required
  • Candidate should have strong hands on development skills using ASP.net (MVC), Angular JS, and SQL
  • A plus: experience with Kendoui core, Datatables.js, Chartsjs, and SignalR
  • Additional skillset: IIS configuration and bitbucket deployment
  • Able to work independently and deliver results with minimum supervision
  • Quick learner who can grasp various complexities of the requirements and systems being supported
  • Demonstrated flexibility for operating and delivering results in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Capable of owning work and coordinating end to end, including closing out issues, managing risk, providing accurate status, and communicating with clients, partners, and management.
