We are a mission partner supporting DoD, Intelligence, and Civil space customers. We develop complex radiation effects mitigated designs that balance competing requirements in modern space programs, delivering cutting-edge solutions that enable our customers to achieve more in space.
Essential Functions:
* Maintains a high degree of technical situational awareness in the subject matter area regarding the application of existing and emerging technologies as related to customer needs and expectations; competitors' intentions, strengths and weaknesses; Trident technical and business competencies; and Tridents public image
* Serves as one of the principal technical representatives for Trident to customers; is responsible for end-to-end closure in liaison with Trident program management
* Manages technical baseline for major programs and directs technical execution of development and test activities
* Leads preparation and presentation of major milestone reviews
* Supports Business Area Executives across the spectrum of business development activities and collaborate as needed on production of technical proposals
* Supports Technical Director relative to master product roadmap across cognizant product / technology areas
* Advises engineering and executive management on technical alternatives in support of strategic planning
* Provides input to disciplined Basis-of-Estimation process for costing activities
* Plans, directs and technically manages architectural design of one or more major programs within the organization
* Actively contributes to developing the overall technology strategy and goals for projects and programs
* Leads technical discussions with customer teams to further develop project/program concepts
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Education/Certification: Bachelor of Science degree
Years of Experience: 15-20 years
Strong leadership skills. Subject matter expert in specific technical area, to be delineated on a case-by-case basis.
