E&E is seeking a Lead Dotnet Developer for a Hybrid Contract to hire opportunity in Philadelphia Pennsylvania!

Lead .NET Developer role, emphasizing expertise in full-stack development, distributed systems, and web/portal technologies. Below is a summary:


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-stack development, primarily using .NET Core and Entity Framework.
  • API development with microservices architecture.
  • Maintain high security and logging standards for external users, using tools like the ELK stack.
  • Collaborate with various teams (enterprise services, informatics, security, architecture, etc.).
  • Mentor team members (5-7) and assist with design and implementation best practices.
  • Refine requirements, break down tasks, and assist the PM with planning.
  • Write functional and detailed design documentation.
  • Address production issues, offering subject matter expertise.
  • Adhere to Agile methodologies, including test-driven development, CI/CD, and source control with TFS.
  • Ensure maintainability, performance, and security of applications.


Must-Have Skills:

  • .Net Core, C#, LINQ, SQL, Entity Framework.
  • Microservices architecture and API development.
  • Experience in distributed systems integration.
  • Knowledge in logging and security practices for external users (e.g., ELK stack).
  • Strong leadership, presentation, and business communication skills.
  • Solid experience with MVC, OOP, and design patterns like Factory Method, Decorator, Publish/Subscribe, and Strategy.
  • Test-driven development and tools for improving code quality.


Preferred Skills:

  • Angular 12+ experience.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge .
  • Experience with TFS (Task/Backlog Management, Builds, and Source Control).


This role is ideal for someone with at least 10+ years of experience in software development, with a deep knowledge of .NET technologies, leadership capabilities, and familiarity with modern web frameworks like Angular, as well as cloud platforms like GCP. Experience in agile methodologies and a healthcare background are definite pluses.
