What You’ll Do
- Manage and train junior cloud engineers/architects who are leveraging common Infrastructure as Code tools to define AWS environments and utilizing Configuration Management and Continuous Deployment tools to orchestrate delivery of applications to stateless and stateful stacks and resources.
- Oversee migration of operations of bare metal and VM hosted applications to containers and serverless as well as operations of non-scalable and/or non-highly available platforms to a high availability and scalable architecture, such as web applications, databases, and storage.
Qualifications
Education: Masters Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems Security.
Experience: 4 years experience as software engineer developing and implementing IT system cloud architectures and systems, working in AWS, Azure, and GCP environments and using Infrastructure as Code tooling, Terraform, traditional VM, container or serverless architectures AWS, ECS, EKS and AWX lambda and python runtime and applying classic provisioning and configuration management tooling such as Ansible, and using CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and Jenkins software tools.
