At ManTech, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team in the Tampa, FL area.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Focuses on DoD 5000.02 artifacts and documentation to perform requirements analysis, including decomposition of high-level requirements into artifacts assignable during Agile program increments and sprintsApply systems engineering principles throughout the systems lifecycle phases: concept, development, production, utilization, support, and retirementInteract with project teams regarding systems engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues, or conflictsCommunicate with other Technical Direction Plan (TDL) project personnel, Government stakeholders, and senior executivesResponsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288, to include: Technical Process Area, Enterprise Process Area, and Agreement Process AreaContribute to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation, such as Systems Engineering Plans, initial capability documents, requirements specifications, and interface control documentsBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in an IT, Business, Engineering, Math, Science, or related fieldFive or more (5+) years of related experienceIf a candidate does not have a degree at all, four (4) additional years of experience are requiredIf a candidate holds an Associates degree rather than a Bachelors degree, two (2) additional years of experience are requiredPreferred Qualifications:Master's degree in STEM or related disciplineRelevant industry standard certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP), Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP) or OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional–Advanced (OCSMP-A) certificationsExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologiesClearance Requirements:This role requires an active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearancePhysical Requirements:Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the timeMust be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnelConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computerThe person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
