Successful candidate will provide website design, development, testing, management and support of the hardware/software infrastructure for a web-based portal for our Government client. Essential functions will include, but not be limited to:
- Performing all aspects of the development tasks, including front-end, back-end, and database development
- Integrating, testing and deploying developed capabilities to on-prem and cloud-based production environments.
- Managing resources to ensure timely and successful deliveries
- Working with clients and review panels to identify recommendations for the appropriate technical, business and human factors solutions
- Commitment to clear and quality communications between team and client product managers
- Commitment to promoting a collaborative work environment with team members and customers
- Develop and maintain web-enabled capabilities and custom applications

Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant technical degrees desired.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience with PostGres, MongoDB and/or SQL database
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with the following technologies:
- Experience building full-stack applications using RESTful APIs
- Experience with some sort of database
- Experience working in AWS or Azure clouds
- Willingness to learn on the job while getting things done
- Able to work in an agile environment
Location: Onsite-Columbia, Maryland
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for systems enhancement, including incremental design/functional element configuration, interfaces, coordination, and prototyping. You will perform a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, and support facilities and/or equipment. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Develop hardware and software
- Perform integration, acceptance testing of modules, subsystems, and total systems
- Perform quality assurance reviews and the evaluation of new and existing software products
What You’ll Need:
- 10+ years’ systems engineering experience
- Ability to perform tasks under limited supervision
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, and 6 years of equivalent related work experience
