Job Summary:

As an Associate Director of the SIFMU IT team, you will be part of a technology team with diverse skill sets and a committed work ethic. Whether it’s Blockchain Technology, Java, Spring suite, JavaScript, AngularJS, Unix, or Database skillset required for the project initiatives, we collaborate and help each other to achieve our common goals. Responsibilities:

1. Build an innovative culture.
2. Be a self-starter providing creative and innovative ideas or solutions to continuously improve the technological offering.
3. Write clean, self-documenting code following standard methodologies on coding, incorporating unit testing.
4. Collaborate with Senior Application Architects and other technical contributors at all levels during application development and resolve application defects identified during System Integration and User Acceptance Testing Phases.
5. Have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the Java platform and the Spring family of frameworks along with Distributed Ledger Technologies.

Qualifications:

1. Extensive experience with Java (Core & EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Cloud, JMS & Kotlin).
2. Extensive working knowledge of blockchain platforms – Ethereum, R3 Corda, and ECR20 Tokens and their use in the financial industry.
3. Expertise in blockchain design (On Chain, Off-Chain, public network, and permissioned network) and development of optimized smart contracts.
4. Experience with Asynchronous Messaging – P2P, Pub/Sub on an MQ architecture.
5. SCM / DevOps / CI/CD tools & processes (GIT/Bitbucket, Maven, Ant, Jenkins, Sonar).
6. Experience with integration patterns and messaging technologies (MQ, Solace, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
7. Extensive experience in ORACLE PLSQL, SQL, and performance fine-tuning.
8. Strong passion for continuous improvement in its many forms.
9. Ability to be flexible – balancing agility with structure.
10. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.
