You will lead the Nation’s premier gateway to space for National Security, Civil and Commercial payloads into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. ENSCO Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master. In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with the Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) team to provide the planning, integration, and execution of a variety of project deliverables.

Duties will include:

1. Facilitate Scrum Events: Organize and facilitate Scrum ceremonies.
2. Coach the Team: Coach the team in Scrum practices and aid them in the understanding of Agile principles to help improve overall performance.
3. Remove Impediments: Identify and remove obstacles that block the team’s progress.
4. Promote Collaboration: Encourage collaboration among team members and stakeholders.
5. Support the Product Owner: Help the Product Owner manage the product backlog, refine user stories, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
6. Ensure Process Compliance: Ensure the team adheres to Scrum rules and practices while continually improving processes.
7. Monitor Progress: Track team progress to help them understand their performance as well as determine improvements that need to be made.

Qualifications Required (Skills)

1. BS degree in engineering or related field with 5 years of experience or 9+ years of DoD program management experience in lieu of BS degree.
2. Proficiency using Microsoft Office and Adobe applications.
3. Ability to gather, evaluate, and interpret complex data to make informed decisions and provide actionable insights.
4. Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions to improve program performance.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively facilitate Scrum events and report findings to stakeholders at all levels.
6. Experience in working with diverse teams, including external partners, to meet program goals.
7. Deep understanding of Agile Practices.
8. Knowledge of Scrum Framework.
9. Skilled at resolving conflicts and guiding discussions towards productive outcomes.
10. Ability to understand team dynamics and foster a supportive and productive environment.
11. Familiarity with software development processes, tools, and technologies.
12. Experience testing complex software systems.
13. Ability to contribute to long-term planning for the program.
14. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification.
15. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance, for which you must be a U.S. citizen.

Qualifications Desired

1. Experience using project management tools such as Team Share, JIRA, and Confluence.
2. Experience with military rank, protocol, and culture.
3. Experience with configuration and data management.
4. Experience with GitLab.
5. Familiar with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
6. TS/SCI Clearance.
