Role Overview
ID.me is looking for a QA Engineer to add to our rapidly growing team. If you love innovation, here's your chance to make a career of it by advancing the digital identity ecosystem. We are seeking a talented QA engineer who enjoys ensuring ID.me delivers quality products and the best possible user experience to your end users. The right person should have a solid understanding of web applications and experience & interest in Quality Assurance.
Responsibilities
- Test responsive web, iOS and Android applications
- Understand software requirements, and create test plans and test cases
- Ability to troubleshoot and reproduce defects.
- Write well-structured detailed bug reports with clear and concise steps to reproduce
- Work independently and collaboratively with PMs, software engineers and other QA engineers
Minimum Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience in testing web based applications
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or similar cloud infrastructure
- Familiarity with JIRA, Postman, Git
- Experience with Test case management tools like Testrail
- Utilize test case management tools like Testrail to organize, manage, and execute test cases. Ability to create and follow through on detailed test plans for new products and features.
- Possess a knack for digging deep to get to the root of issues, crafting detailed bug reports, and pushing solutions forward. Your problem-solving skills will be crucial in enhancing our product reliability.
- Ability to thrive when there are changing priorities and shifting of gears
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be a team player with strong, self-managing work ethic
- Passion for quality software and improving the user experience of our end users
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing tools (Playwright, Selenium etc.)
- Experience with Github Actions, Harness or settings up a CI pipeline
- Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure or similar cloud infrastructure
- Knowledge of Python
The annual base salary listed below for this role is based on experience, skills, education, relevant training and geographic location. Company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity, and benefits are available depending on the role.

$129,936—$142,479 USD
