Job Description:
Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Tooling/Process Engineer to add to their growing team located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our client seeks an individual who will be responsible for designing and programming tooling and inspection gages; including creating tooling for NPI projects and process improvement on existing product to eliminate inspection time and mistake proof processes. You will also be responsible for creating, documenting, developing, and implementing procedures used to repair, assemble, process, test and/or manufacture of customer designs.
Responsibilities:

• Create programs to manufacture tooling
• Design tooling and create tool drawings
• Setup tool routings and BOMs to track tool time and material cost
• Track tool build and update process timelines accordingly
• Work with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing groups to identify needs for process improvements and provide engineering solutions to identified problems.
• Track costs and create success stories for provided fixes
• Ownership of product life cycle from PO receipt from Customer through shipment of product and maintain follow-on production.

Requirements:

• 3 Years 3D modeling software.
• 3 years process engineering or tool design experience.
• ERP/MRP software system exoerience
• Strong background in machining, blueprint reading, GD&T, and specification interpretation.
• Knowledge of PPAP or other processes related to product introdruction.
