Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other technical degree
• Typically requires 3+ years of relevant technical or business work experience
• General familiarity with networking, security, and automated deployments of middleware in AWS GovCloud using IaC

Responsibilities

• Support scripting and automation development in the AWS environment
• Build automation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), promote IaC through a CI/CD pipeline, and enhance existing processes
• Maintain and improve existing build and deployment processes across all products
• Collaborate with Application Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and others to create deployment best practices
• Enforce best practices for security and reliability
• Design and deploy new application components and infrastructures
• Implement and maintain a continuous integration environment
• Support and troubleshoot product and infrastructure issues in production environments
• Write configuration scripts for automation tools and automate recurring tasks
• Actively monitor and administer cloud-hosted applications and build integrations
• Participate in engineering design and deployment planning
• Work with partners within 1-2 business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
• Support several moderately complex business initiatives
• Serve as a project team member
