Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 (Depending on experience)
Shift: 1st Shift (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Mon-Fri)

Job Description:
CNC programmer/operator for the manufacturing of Overhead Cranes and components
Objective:
Machine parts off of shop drawings, provide high quality parts in an efficient manner.
Reports to:
Shop Foreman
Responsibilities
    • Ability to read and interpret Shop Machining drawings.
    • Ability to set up and run CNC Lathes and Mills working off shop drawings.
    • Ability to hold tolerances to within .0005" as required.
    • Programming on Fagor, Fanuc, Haas and Heindenhain controls using "G" code without the use of programming software. Experience on all controls is not required
    • Able to use precision measuring equipment including but not limited to calipers, micrometers, dial bore gauges.
    • Consistently produce high quality and accurate parts.
    • Show up to work on time every day.
    • Able to work safely in a Heavy Industrial environment.
    • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
    • Possible Temp to hire after 90 day period is up.
Education
    • High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training or vocational education in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
Experience
    • Proven experience in operating CNC lathes and mills, with a focus on setting up and running machinery based on shop drawings.
    • Experience in programming CNC controls such as Fagor, Fanuc, Haas, and Heidenhain using "G" code (experience on all controls is not required, but familiarity with at least one is preferred).
Skills
    • Ability to read and interpret shop machining drawings accurately.
    • Strong understanding of tolerances and the ability to hold tolerances within .0005".
    • Proficiency in using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and dial bore gauges.
    • Attention to detail with a commitment to consistently producing high-quality and accurate parts.
Work Ethic
    • Reliable attendance and punctuality; able to show up to work on time every day.
    • Ability to work effectively and safely in a heavy industrial environment.
Physical Requirements
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.
    • Physically capable of performing manual tasks associated with machining.
