Job Description

The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer writes code that meets specifications for large and highly complex software programs and systems. This role involves developing software applications and tools, participating in software design, and implementing activities that impact important components and processes of the work of the unit, team, or projects. The developer demonstrates proficiency in most areas of the professional function and in-depth specialization in some.

You are driven to develop solutions, anticipate and prevent problems, and contribute to the continuous improvement of technology processes and tools.


Responsibilities:

  1. Write and review code to meet specifications for large and complex software programs and systems.
  2. Develop and maintain software applications and tools.
  3. Participate in software design and implement improvements to existing systems.
  4. Implement activities that impact important components and processes of the team or projects.
  5. Demonstrate proficiency in most professional functions and specialize in some areas.
  6. Anticipate and prevent problems and roadblocks before they occur.
  7. Develop design skills and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's software applications and tools.
  8. Interact with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization.
  9. Receive work in the form of short- and mid-term assignments, applying independent judgment.
  10. Mentor less experienced team members and provide guidance, coaching, and training.
  11. Manage technology projects and processes within the team, sometimes directing and reviewing the work of others.
  12. Lead project teams in the absence of management or upper-level professionals.

Qualifications:

  1. Advanced knowledge of programming languages important to the organization, including proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Java.
  2. Experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems, JavaScript, HTML, XML, CSS, and React.
  3. Knowledge of database technologies, networking technologies, and hands-on experience with Cloud technologies.
  4. Typically requires a University Degree, certification, or equivalent experience.
  5. A minimum of 5 years of progressively complex related experience.
  6. Ability to develop solutions and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
  7. Experience managing technology projects, programs, or processes.
  8. Ability to coach or review the work of other technology professionals.
  9. Advanced knowledge of the technical discipline, obtained through advanced education combined with experience.

The salary range for this position is: 119,700.00 - 199,300.00 USD Annual. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
