Mechanical Design Engineer

The ideal candidate will create, draft, and design product layouts and schemes using customer specification and recommendations. This individual will test products and make adjustments where necessary. Additionally, they will examine broken products and resolve issues for future designs.

Responsibilities

• Brainstorming and conceptualizing design improvements and cost reductions for product preparing for entrance into commercial markets
• Design and development of mechanical and electromechanical products
• Prepare full documentation in accordance with relevant internal SOPs and Design Control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2 years' of industry experience designing new products for release into the market.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design, particularly SolidWorks
