What You'll Do in This Position

SRNS is seeking to hire a Senior Developer proficient in .Net/C#, Java, C/C++, and VB6 to support and enhance current applications and infrastructure. This role involves developing team members' skills, improving processes and work quality, and supporting databases like Oracle, SQL Server, and Access. The Senior Developer will deploy, troubleshoot, and test applications on various platforms, including IIS, Apache, Windows Mobile, and Windows Server which includes scheduled tasks for interface jobs, while standardizing work processes and implementing automation tools like GIT and Azure Pipelines. Strong leadership and team development skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Support:
o Attain proficiency in supporting all current applications across various languages.
o Develop team members to ensure multiple individuals can modify and update supported applications.
o Lead efforts to improve software quality through code reviews and development sessions.
Technologies:
o Web Applications: Net/Angular
o Non-Web Applications: Net/C#
o Java Applications
o C/C++ Applications
o VB6 Applications
Infrastructure Support:
o Deploy, troubleshoot, and test applications on all platforms.
o Develop team members to support each platform, ensuring organizational depth.
o Support routine updates on servers and databases.

Security Clearance Information

SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance. Bachelor degree in applicable science or engineering discipline

Other Qualifications

Required Disciplines/Majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Systems-Technology, Physics or Mathematics, Cyber Security, Network Administration
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if required.
