As a Senior Software Engineer on this team, you will be working with a team of very talented engineers and Architects to take the platform to the next level.What you'll bring5+ years’ experience developing web, software, or mobile applicationsBS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experienceStrong hands-on experience of developing highly scalable microservices and web applicationsProficient in a major programming language and its NodeJS/Javascript, PHP. Java is a plusProficient in programming, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, troubleshooting.Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience working with cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and familiarity with deploying scalable applications on these platforms.Team player possessing strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills"Self-starter" attitude and the ability to make decisions independentlyStrong understanding of the Software design/architecture processHow you will leadWrite scalable web application code with the utmost attention to detail, inclusive of accessibility, performance, scalability, securityManaging the complete software development process from conception to deployment, across backend and frontend servicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, use cases and develop prototypes, or proof of concepts.Generate technical documentation to communicate architectural and design options, and educate development teams and other stakeholdersActively seeks and incorporates design review feedback, also actively reviews design of peers and SWEs.Conduct code reviews, promote code quality, and ensure adherence to coding standardsActively stay abreast of industry best practices, share learnings, and experiment and apply cutting edge technologies.Roughly 90% hands-on coding and code reviews.Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, QA/QE, various product lines, or business units to drive forward resultsIdentify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize architecture & codeExperience with Agile Development or SCRUMEOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability.
